2022 Dernford Reservoir
A trip to Dernford Reservoir on the 26th November 2022 was enjoyed by several early risers from Eco Whittlesford.
The species spotted included:

- Mute Swan, Cygnus olor
- Greylag Goose, Answer anser
- Barnacle Goose (feral), Branta leucopsis
- Mallard, Anas platyrhynchos

- Tufted Duck, Aythya fuligia
- Pochard, Aythya ferina
- Coot, Fulica atra
- Lapwing, Vanellus vanellus approximately 100 flying overhead
- Black Headed Gull, Larus ridibundas
- Herring Gull, Larus argentatus
- Lesser Black Backed Gull, Larus fuscus
- Red Kite, Milvus milvus
- Buzzard, Buteo buteo
- Skylark, Alauda arvensis
- Meadow Pipit, Anths pratensis
- Robin, Erithacus rubecula
- Pied Wagtail, Motacilla alba yarellii

Another "spot": Margot Maitland found a four leafed Clover on the southern side of the reservoir.
